Our DIY Wedding

After a year of preparation (yup! we took a year to prepare for it), 

finally we're officially married!! XD. To be honest, getting married is not an easy job.

(Phew~ finally is over)

If you're in the mist of planning for your wedding without hiring wedding planner,
a piece of advice, get yourselves a copy of wedding planning checklist. You can search
 online or use the smart phone apps. I used the wedding plandroid apps. Like it!
It helps you to get everything done from A-Z.

I'm not going to tell everything from the start until the end because it's to lenghty,
basically I just followed everything from the checklist. Haha. So let's fast forward to the night.

This was the venue for our wedding reception-32 At The Mansion.

32 Mansion is a fine dining restaurant situated near upper penang road.
Their vintage and romantic ambiance is just what I wanted for my wedding reception.
 However the restaurant can only cater for a small scale wedding.
Mine is about 100 guests so it's just nice.

Notice the flower decor and the jar lantern? It's all part of our DIY projects.

Special thanks to my colleagues for the jars. XD.

We spent 41/2 hrs to get all these done! Thanks to Eejoe(my bridesmaid) and Suzanne
(my aunt)for being my part time florist. Well done! I'm no sure how much it cost for
a florist to do it but it only cost me RM 250!!
I bought the flower from a wholesaler which is much cheaper than the florist shop.

 I bought the colour ink pad from Daiso.

Here is our wedding invitation card.

Yes, I took the photo of my miniature and make 

it like a postcard type of invitation card.

 I didn't choose the traditional pink colour envelope 

but I use a normal brown envelope which 

you can get it easily from any stationary shop.

Since my hand writing is not that good -.- so I decided to 

write the guests name by using the alphabet rubber stamp.

For female guests, the envelope is decorated with lace

 while for male guests...mmm...lace I think is a no no for them.Lol

These are my newly bought post-mark rubber stamp.

My New Craft Room

My apartment is under renovation now, 

which mean that I'm going to have my own craft room soon. Yeah~~~

But i really have no idea how a craft room should look like

so i search for some inspiring ideas online.

I love the colour and the cozy feel of the room

simple and nice

neat and well organized space

有一段时间没见了，哈哈。。。不是偷懒啦。。只是忙着念书和考试。
考完试又跑去度假了，所以就不见了几个月。。嘻嘻。。现在总算回来了。

很快的就会有新作品啦。

2011

Ok~~is year end again.Time for annual review and new year planning.

2010 is like a dream come true year.It's not like dream come true of being rich 

but dream come true to leave the hell and go to heaven. haha..

For 2011..erm..hope to be a great year.

No Shopping???

No way...girl can't live without adding something new to their closet.

clothes, shoes, cosmetic, accessories....a lot more.

So make it this way..Less shopping..in order to save money for my korea trip and new home renovation.

(Save money to shop more in Korea....XD)

My Korea trip is on the first 2 weeks of May.

Is a free and easy trip for two of us so we have to plan the trip by ourselves.

We never been to korea, don't understand the language, don't have any friends there..

we don't know what will happen then but surely we'll survive our trip with my planning. hehe.

More handcraft...yea..is part of my life now. My next mission is to learn sewing.

Hope it turns out to be good.^^

已经有一段时间没逛书局了,开始觉的
自己的知识水平有点下降了.
不行啦~~~
赶紧趁着难得的假期到书局去晃晃
(因为有折扣高达90%叻..嘻嘻..)

在那呆了将近四个小时买了7本书都
不到100元,真过隐.
书的内容有手作,健康资讯,心灵成长,工作和旅行.

"再穷也要去旅行"是我的最爱
是一本让人很想继续看下去的书..
它的标题写出了我的心声.(呜~~)
因为我很喜欢自助旅行,
喜欢慢慢的走,慢慢的看
太棒了!

我真的很佩服爱琳(作者)的耐力和勇气
她去过很多国家(有些是很少旅客会去的),
见过很多人, 吃过很多食物(很多挨饿的经验)
也住过很多客栈(一定要超便宜的那种),
酒店就不用说啦..no way!(overbudget)

我知道很多人像我一样抱着
背包旅行的梦想, 可是就是欠缺了
那么一点的勇气(其实是很大的勇气啦..)
因为仔细的想,旅途如果找不到
落脚处我能像爱琳那样寄宿警察局吗?
我能耐几天脏兮兮都没地方洗澡吗?
还是迷路了加上语言不通
找不到回家的路呢?
.....哬哬...
嗯~~就说嘛...是很大的勇气

我的回忆

假如有一天你在森林里迷路了，你身上有五样东西，
你要一样一样的丢掉他们，请你排出丢掉东西的顺序。
a. 照相机 b.旅游指南 c. 雨伞 d. 提款卡 e.书籍

我的答案是先丢提款卡，森林不会有提款机吧。
再来是书籍，很重。
然后是旅游指南，指南应该不会有森林的地图。
雨伞很有用，可以当武器，又可以遮雨所以不舍得丢。
照相机更不用说了，最爱，不可以丢。<(￣︶￣)>

这心里测验是看看你最重视的东西。
a. 照相机 - 回忆
b.旅游指南-朋友
c. 雨伞 -爱人
d. 提款卡 -地位
e.书籍 -梦想

结果我最不重视的是地位。
很准！
有地位的人，必需背负很大的重任。
生活也变得很有压力。
自由，无拘无束的生活才是我想要的。

我最重视回忆吗？
准！
人生说长不长，说短也不短。
我们的脑不是电脑。没办法把所有的回忆都记下来。
所以从以前我就有写日记的习惯。
应该有十年了。
不过现在的我比较喜欢用相机来记录
我的生活。（变懒了，没写日记很久了~(￣▽￣)~）
所以相机是我的回忆录

End of the world

2012可说是今年年尾的重头好戏。至从上映以来每间戏院都挤满了人潮，

为的就是这场电影。这种场景我今年见过两次，

第一次是Transformer2, 第二次就是2012。

其实大家都是抱着什么心态去看这部电影呢？

好奇？电脑特效？关心？

海报的标题：We Were Warned

在告诉我们马雅族的预言是在警惕我们吗？

地球的寿命真的会在2012年结束吗？

没有人知道。

看了这部电影，心想如果真的有那么一天，我们会像

电影里的主角一样生存下来还是会被淹没

在巨大的海啸里呢。。

电影里，不难发现，大自然的力量是多么的可怕。

不管人类多聪明，多发达

到后来还是得向大自然求饶，认错。

就在那么的一天。。。。

~~Summer's Trip to Langkawi~~Day 3

来到Langkawi trip的最后一天了，我们check out旅店后就往码头集合出发到pulau payar去snorkeling. 那里的海水很清澈，有迫不及待要跳下的冲动。超兴奋。



下水前先和鱼儿拍照。哇。。好多鱼哦。。尤其一把食物丢下去的时候，鱼儿是一群群的冲过来。恐怖呐





不是很会游泳的我就穿着救生衣下水去snorkelling. 海里有很可爱的鱼儿，也有小鲨鱼不过它们都不会主动攻击人。可以放心的游。



到了午餐时间，我们就在那里享用他们为我们准备的便当。便当里有沙拉，马铃薯，炸鸡，三文治，饼干，鸡蛋和小蛋糕。很多哦。。

下午的太阳越来越猛。。。怕晒得我 决定在岸边乘凉。

大约下午三点我们就搭船回langkawi码头啦。

当天我们搭五点的船回槟城，一路上我都处于昏睡的状态因为太累啦。

三天的旅程就这样结束了。

虽然晒黑了许多，脚也累得走不动了， 不过心情很高兴。总算没白白浪费我的假期。。。

~~Summer's Trip to Langkawi~~Day 2

第二天一大清早我就把小Q吵醒，因为我们约好去游泳。好久都没游泳了。我还为了这次的旅行买了件泳衣

过后就在旅店吃早餐。有中式，西式和马来式的早餐。我觉得这里的roti jala 和加哩蛮不错的。



吃饱了就出发往oriental village 去。那里的缆车是langkawi的景点之一哦。

上山的路程大约15分钟。沿路的风景真得很棒。又高又斜的，有点怕怕。



山顶的天气很凉而且到处都被雾包围，朦朦的。

我们还到位于高山上的吊桥去。往下看很恐怖呐。。。



下山后我们就在oriental village逛逛顺便到处去拍照。





oriental village 在上一点就带telaga tujuh 瀑布。要往瀑布必须爬无数的阶梯，精力不够的我半路休息了好几次才顺利到达瀑布。好累啊~~~~不过看到那么壮观的景色总算值得啦。。



过后我们就驾车沿路逛逛。我负责看地图带路，不过小Q常抱怨我乱乱指路，不知道去了那里。。哈哈。。还没吃午餐的我们就买了点小食先填饱肚子。

边吃边走我们就来到黑沙滩了。名副其实，好黑的沙哦。。





傍晚，我们就去吃晚餐过后到duty free的店去买点巧克力做手信，酒也很便宜哦。。我们就买了点红酒回去

好啦。。玩了一天，回去休息吧。。明天要去snorkelling了。。

~~Summer's Trip to Langkawi~~Day 1

原本的巴厘岛之旅泡汤了，心情有点低落。小Q建议不然去Langkawi吧，一样有海有沙滩哟。咦。。。感觉还不错。。好吧决定去Langkawi啰~~

小时候曾到Langkawi两次，印象不是很深刻，都忘光光了。。哈。。

从槟城坐游轮到Langkawi大约三小时，超级怕晕船的我早已准备好晕船药啦。。

当天早上8.30出发，大约11.30就到达Langkawi了。在码头有很多人派发当地的地图，我们拿了几份因为打算租车游langkawi，地图很重要呢。

我和小Q大概商量了一下我们的旅途决定租两天的车到处逛，然后第三天出海去snorkelling。。好。。开车吧。。。先去吃午餐。因为对当地的路不熟，所以就在附近的咖啡厅用餐啰。

吃完午餐我们就跟着地图往旅店去。我们的旅店很近机场所以很容易就找到了。到达房间我和小Q的第一反应是。。哇。。很大的房间哦。。超棒！！！

在房间转了一圈后我们就往海底世界去。那里有各式各样的海底生物。让我大叹原来海底有这种生物啊！！













企鹅是到那里必看的，它们走路的样子真得很可爱哦

过后我们沿路到Pantai Cenang去吹吹海风。Pantai Cenang 是旅客的集中地。所以那里有很多海鲜餐厅和Cafe。




海风很大,头发被吹得乱乱的

下个目的地就到Kuahtown也就是靠码头的城镇。用完晚餐我们就到LangSquare去散步。那里有只巨型老鹰雕像，是Langkawi的地标。走近看还真的很巨大呢。

因为那天不是假日所以不是很多人。






小Q：你有听过老鹰的故事吗?

我：没有，什么故事？

小Q：嗯。。回去再说吧。。

我：什么嘛~~~

故事是这样的：传闻以前一对情侣独自在那里散步，忽然老鹰化成真把那对情侣吃掉了

恐怖呐！！！难怪当时小Q不告诉，不然我一定会逃走。

走了一天好累哦。。回旅店休息明天继续吧。。
